🐷 Kde Connect Windows Not Working
First things first, this is not exactly an apples-to-apples comparison. While KDE Connect and Warpinator are both great options for transferring files, one of them has broader aspirations. KDE Connect doesn’t just handle file transfers. It syncs your mobile device with your PC, so you can receive notifications or manipulate either device
But in principle KDE Connect could be expanded to work via USB. However, as USB and WiFi are quite different technologies that are in different areas of the architecture of your computer system it would probably be quite a bit of work. USB essentially is a serial data peripheral interface, whereas WiFi is part of the computer's networking.
Right click on the Remote header in the Places panel on Dolphin. Click on "add entry". Give it a name (something like " SMB Share ") In the "location" input, type in your SMB server location (e.g.: smb:///folder) Choose an icon and validate. Now you should see that icon under your personal folder on the left, just click on it and
Try to "exclude" kdeconnect in your VPN settings. (at least protonvpn, riseup and orobot have that option) If you mean that the two device only can communicate through VPN (eg. they are a different location connected to the same VPN), you have to use the "add device by IP" at the "pair new device" menu.

To connect your Android phone to your Windows PC, you need to connect your devices over the same wireless network. Then it would be best if you paired your Android phone to the windows using Bluetooth, too, to have
It should have older builds available, and since Windows Store version KDE Connect not working - gui all messed up - #15 by rokejulianlockhart only provides an .appx package, the .exe installer might work instead. Try Artifacts of kdeconnect-kde_Release_win64 #1532 : / [Jenkins] first, and older builds after, if none of the new versions work.
Sadly that means the module is not working, because that direction works even w/o the module :-( Please run getprop sys.clipboard.whitelist to check if the module is loaded, and check the permissions for whitelist.list (as well as the folder containing it) -- the author recommends system:system and 644 (although I have root:root and it's working normally).
Just installed 1.3.4 from Ubuntu on my antix with xfce system. kdeconnect now goes farther but when trying to browse device it open the text editor instead of thunar. I need to find an open with config or some way to tell it to open thunar. The previous version would fail as mentioned earlier but navigating to the mount path pulled from mtab
kgRlnZ.
