Question is where is the sensor on the engine? When turning the car over it sounds like no compression does that mean timing belt has gone and time to get a
ben1191. The 2005 1.8 TDCI engine is equipped with both a timing belt and a chain. The crankshaft and diesel injection pump are connected by a chain. The diesel injection pump is connected to the camshaft by a timing belt. After 03-01-2008 Ford changed the chain which connects the crankshaft with the diesel injection pump for a so called wet belt.
